Pippins is a Pre School and our mission is to ensure that each and every child will be surrounded with challenging, stimulating opportunities and experiences to enable them to have fun, whilst learning through play. We will work in partnership with parents, building positive relationships to encourage all children to develop at their own pace to reach their potential. In the summer term 2023 we focused on mini beasts. We had a butterfly garden set and watched as caterpillars changed into chrysalides and then emerge as beautiful painted lady butterflies. Below you can see some of the chrysalides and one butterfly – and the orange which is food for the butterfly, as well as some of our mini beast art work.

Celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. 27th May 2022
Our gift to honour Miss Fletcher-Davies leaving South Farnborough Infants School and going on to pastures new. She planted an apple tree called Christmas Pippin on 18th July 2022 in our outdoor playground and we will think of her every time we harvest the apples, which we will eat on snack bar.
